Not very twosome now, is it? We just had a big fight with da catnip pillow - AGAIN. Can't Donny just leave *my* pillow alone???
Well, at least it's cooler today so we have the energy to fight. First of all, we had this humongous thunderstorm with large hail and tornado warnings....neither of which happened. How boring!...but it did cool things down a bit.
Also, thanks for all your advice on cooling off....almost everyone said A/C so we bugged mommy and mommy bugged daddy and now we are the proud owners of a new window A/C unit. Hooray!
I liked it so much, I made sure to situate myself just below the A/C unit, where I can feel the cool air blowing and blowing. And didn't budge. ALL day! It was pawesome!

Your mom needs to get another pillow so you don't hafta fight over it. Dad put in a jinormus a/c unit dat cools da whole house, mom loves da a/c! Glad your dad loved you (and your mom) enuff to get it.

You are very lucky that you have A/C now. We unfortunately can't buy an A/C unit in Germany. :( The Germans think air conditioning is unhealthy, so they don't stock them in stores. And we can't import one, because the windows and electrical systems are different over here. :(

I understand. 'Nip can cause disagreements even between the best of friends. Even Izzy and I have gotten into tiffs sometimes over the catnip bag. Very understandable.

I'm glad you got a nice cold blowy thing. They are really great for when its especially HOTS outside. I won't even describe the horrible way the humans set up their first AC unit...it involved sucking on a condensate hose.

Isn't da coolin box grate? We would be lost without ours. Momma keeps us nice and cool while she is away making green bills fur us and she likes to keep it furry cold at o'dark thirty. We has to burrow down to keep warm.

Gotta question fur you two: If I chase Bonnie an she runs away hissin, if she turns round and comes right out of the puter room again right away, was she really mad or just playin? Cuz I fink if she comes right out again, she's askin fur more.
Oh, Mom's got anofur idea fur coolin off. Put a couple of towels or small pillows in the fridge fur awhile, then put them out on furniture fur you guys. Or maybe the freezer, if there's room.

Good to know they got some A/C for you. Otherwise, ice packs wrapped in towels or I saw some kitties wearing wet tea towels to cool off. Whatever works.
OOH! A/C is just so awesome. We love coming back into the cave after it bein so hot and sticky outside and floppin on the nice cool floors! An it is neat to curl up on the warm waterybed so we are warm unnerneath an cool above.
