Mancat Monday: the Lazy Days of Summer

The heat wave is continuing, and we are getting tired of all this heat. So I am taking the rare opportunity to nap in Casey's catbed. Altho even then it's too hot to sleep there.

But it's about all we can do these days. How do you kitties cool off?

We keep cool in various area of the cave, cause The Big Thing keeps it cool. An in the basement, it is even cooler!

We have plenny of water to cool us down when we come in from the hot outside an we can sit on the floor blowy things that leak cool air.

We actually spend some time tryin to warm up!

You could ask your beans to send you to New Zealand. It is very cold here (it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere). It would mean you would have to travel in your prison box and you might have to sell all of your toys to buy a ticket.

Accomodation would be free - you could stay with me.

You look very cozy in that cat bed, Donny. I just try to stay in the shade when it's hot out. I sympathize, because we have a heatwave in Munich this week.

We has a/c, but we also lay on the tile or vinyl flooring. Yup.

It is hot most of the year here in Florida, but everything is air conditioned. We love the heat, though. We get Mom to open the bathroom window so we can lay in the sun, and love it most when Mom takes us out in the yard.

Ah, the heat of the summer! Well, when I want to cool off, I force the slaves to fan me with their wooden geisha fans (you know the ones I mean). Then, I allow them to place me on a cushion next to an open window where I can enjoy the cool summer breeze. After that, I insist that my food is brought to my resting place so that i do not have to exert any energy in walking to the food bowl. Try it, it might make you feel cooler! xx

I like to be HOT! If its hot I want to snuggle even closer. Chase lies on his back with his belly in the air to cool off (he looks rather odd...)

Ah, you look so comfy, even if hot!

Our swamp cooler hasn't been working too well because of high humidity lately, but there is a window air conditioner in one room ... this room.

My Lady has an air conditioner in her bedroom, but I hate it. Too noisy. I lay on the kitchen floor myself, it is a very cool place to lay.

We are lucky and have air conditioning! It's great, you can sit in front of it and let the cool air blow on your furs!

We're sorry it's hot there. We have A/C so we never have to deal with heat.

I like the tile mosaic or the brick entryway. Cool no matter how warm it is!
