Thursday 13: Our Gotcha Day

Us now.

Today is our Gotcha Day. It's hard to believe that two years have flown by so quickly.

For our Thursday 13 this week, we want to share with you 13 reasons why we are so glad to be adopted by mommy and daddy.

1. Our big sis Casey. She pretends not to like us, but we know she's a softie and can't live without us, hehe.

2. Food!!

3. Treats!!! Temptations and Kitty Kaviar galore!

4. Lots of space. Where we live now sure beats living in a cage at the shelter!

5. Adventure. We've been outdoors in the summers to explore, and we love it.

6. Mr. Pigeon! We are very sure we would have never made his acquaintance at the shelter, as we don't remember being near any windows....

7. Windows. There are so many windows at home we can perch at and see the world from a safe place.

8. Toys! Oh yes, there are catnip mice and feather toys and string toys and ribbon toys and our newest favourite, the red dot!!

9. Games!! We get to play chase the red dot, thundering herd of elephants, playfight, chase the white mousie, and we're learning from our big sis Casey to play a new game, drag the dirty socks around.

10. Comfort. We can find lots and lots of reassurance and security by sleeping with our big sis Casey or mommy and daddy.

11. Being adopted together. We feel so fortunate that mommy and daddy were able to adopt us together...otherwise, we'd be so lonely and lost without each other!

12. Furriends on the bloggysphere. We have made so many kitty furriends and a woofie furriend too! I don't think we could make the shelter give us access to the bloggysphere.

13. Mommy and daddy themselves. We love them very much and we appreciate everything they've provided for us!
