Mancat Monday: Raise a Paw

Gaius is having a gurreat contest to encourage all of us to raise awareness of our favourite charities by a Raise of Paw.

So...for Mancat Monday, I'm Raising a Paw for my favouritest charity in the whole wide world, the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Southern Alberta branch). I love this charity, because it is through the hard work of the charity to raise awareness of kidney disease, and raise funds for things such as support, services, and research.

This charity helps pple like my mommy to live a normal life, whether it is management of the disease, dialysis options or transplant. As you know, thanks to the work of this wonderful charity, my mommy is doing well with a kidney transplant donated from daddy. And because mommy could live a normal life again, that means we can bug her to demand attention and food and treats!!

Happy Monday, kitties!

Yay, I second your paw raising! SS used to work with renal transplant patients and fully supports the work being done. Hope your mom continues to do well.

That is my Mum's favourite charity too, except she supports the BC branch. My Mum is currently at 18% kidney function. She hopes one day to get a kidney transplant.

Thank God for causes and charities that raise money and find cures and treatments that saved your mom and others that have life threatening conditions!

My Lady can't get me to raise my paw. No matter how hard she tries.

Donny, you sure do raise one heck of a paw ... and for a wonderful cause! I've been trying to get my staff to raise some paws, but the catslackers don't have an ounce of initiative during holiday season. Bah!
