Thank you Secret Paws!!

On Friday, mommy said there was a package for us.

A package?



We found a very pretty box inside...and it turned out that the package was from our Secret Paws, Kellie the Orange Cat!!


We were very excited and couldn't wait to open it. Donny and I did the honours of untying the package:


Wow!!!!! So much stuff!! We got toys and Fancy Feast and a pretty purse of pink fur and lotsa toys inside!!


Casey made off with the HUGE bag of salmon Temptations. She was very happy and feeling very accomplished that she got what she wanted....although she didn't mind checking out the toys with me....


Donny decided that he liked the pink furry purse best. Not only did it have so many toys, but
he thought that he could be fashionable and dapper in pink like our furriend Skeezix. Donny liked it so much he ran away with it immediately:


Me? I decided that I liked the heart-shaped "Miss You" toy. It had feathers on it, but more importantly, I liked the "Miss You" message on it. It reminded me of how much I miss Ramses when I am not teleported over there snuggling with him. And of course, Kellie sending this sweet note that she misses us made me feel all warm and happy with her furriendship - she is so thoughtful!


And we oooh'd and awwww'd over her pretty Christmas card and a cute little cat card that she sent us and our mommy too!



Thank you Kellie for the Secret Paws gifts....they were the pawesomest!! :D

White Wednesday

One of my favourite spots to sit is on this particular dining room chair. From this vantage point, I can see into FOUR different areas at once: the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and the study/office. It's high up and it's somewhat secretive coz nokitty EVER thinks to look up at this spot, so it's purrfect if you wanted to "scare" them, haha.

Bonus: if you ever got into trouble (say...for scaring Casey, hehe), you can run away to the dining room chairs on the OTHER side of the table. Mommy always glares at me when I do this, but never comes after me!

So anyways, were you able to tell who was who in yesterday's picture? For those who guess that I was the kitty on the right....you are correct! :D

Thursday 13: What Kept Mommy busy last week

So we were very, VERY sad that mommy was too busy to turn the computer on and let us go online. What kept her so busy, you ask?

For this week's Thursday 13 (the first in ages!), here are some things that kept mommy busy:

1. our fabulous 2008 Calendar
2. house cleaning
3. ordering and mailing our Christmas cards
4. buying a Mazda 5
5. moving the bedroom furniture around
6. baking
7. downloading photos and organizing them
8. hosting dinner and entertaining friends
9. visiting friends
10. cleaning out the foyer closet
11. buying Christmas presents
12. organizing her magazines (she has so many!)

and finally,

13. playing Super Mario Galaxy.

White Wednesday

So here's one of the things that kept mommy busy last week:


She made a pretty calendar of all 3 of us for 2008! She said that she actually wanted to make one last year of me and Donny and all our kitten pictures and then this year all our adult pictures, but she had some health "hiccups" with her transplant this time last year, so she couldn't do it. She was really happy with how it turned out, you can see it here.

In the meantime, tho, I think I will send myself AND this wonderful calendar to my boyfurriend Ramses. Would you like that, my sweetheart?
